Uni Outing!

Friday, July 24, 2009

This is going to be a super happy post hahaha... let me tell you just how fun uni life can be. Lawyers aren't all nerds okay! Just like how psychologists aren't (all) made of mad people..

I've always loved Thursday. Still do. More now because classes end at 11am. Just the right time to go KARAOKEEEE.. Previously this was a 4-person plan.. but I guess words spread a little too easily..

and turns out? 11 of us went! It should have been 12 of us except someeeeoneeeeeee left early with a very inexcusable excuse! eh wait Si Qin is missing from this photo!

Good chance to introduce her though..

Tada! My uni fren from Terengganu.. Si Qin! (important character in today's blog post hence the introduction lol)

Photographer of the day :)

K.. continuing on with my karaoke story.. wahaha.. so happy! We went to Gardens Redbox. They had this RM10++ student rate! So worth it. 3 hrs of singing (and a lot of screaming) with lunch! Hehehe.. This is like the first time I've ever sang (almost) equal amounts of Chinese and English songs in KTV. Feels so satisfying lol. Happy happy happy happy... *whistle happy tune*

From left: Jia Mun, Sam, Me, Danni, CK, Alister, Jason, Nicholas, Si Qin
Missing: Nick and Sean (went off to watch movie)

The schedule for that day was PACKED. For some of us.. we had a mountain to climb!

BATU CAVES!

For those who don't know.. it has
steps. (inset: 272)

Because Si Qin was from Terengganu, we brought her here (Jia Mun's house XD) to visit. But haha she was afraid of height and monkeys! Both the characteristics of Batu Caves. We still had fun though..

Stairs and more stairs...

Finally going down..

Wheeee! Back down. (after escaping from monkeys and birds!)

After drinking coconuts and ice-cream.. we wanted to finally excute our 1 year delayed plan of flying kites. The weather was perfect. No sun. Light breeze. It was as if we were MEANT to go..

But then but then.. we could only stare at this bat kite (and many others).. because when we arrive at that nice park... we couldn't find anyone selling kites. T____T Lol.. wanted to simply find someone to let us take photo and pose with their kites to bluff everyone but didn't in the end XD. (really should have did that! Now our 1 year delayed plan is going to become a 2 years delayed plan!)

We still managed to have lots of fun though :)

Best part was this..

Paddling boat like - OKU-like - bicycles!

It's so cool that the park has such interesting things to play with haha.. There's even a big big pond.. which we didn't really go around but just see from afar. Whoever that is in charged of Taman Jaya should really go home and 'fan xing'.

We race down the hill! haha.. was doing a great job at promoting these bicycles :D

Relaxinggggg....

And our day-trip didn't even end there. After that we went back Jalan Ipoh to have Dim Sum for dinner! :)

Lol.. air pollution. (No idea what Wai Hsian's doing @.@)

We even had 'tong sui' at the 20-30 years old stall next to the Dim Sum's place before going back to HELP at 8pm to drop Si Qin there.

Class started at 8am yesterday and we went back there exactly at 8pm. =D

Ha! Who says law students are all nerds now eh? (blehhhhhhhh)
